HE GUYS, I ORDERED TWO OF THE STRONGES KITS THAT THAT ARE AVAILIBLE FROM HOME BREWERS OUTPOST. THE BRANDYWINE AND THE IPA. BOTH KITS WENT THROUGHT THE FERMINTATION PROCESS WHITHOUT A PROBLEM. THEY SPENT ANOTHER WEEK IN THE SECONDARY AND THEN BOTTLED. BOTH KITS HAD A VERY SIMULAR TASTE. BOTH KITS HAD A VERY BITTER AFTERTASTE. I AM FAIRLY CONFIDENT THAT I DIDNT HAVE A INFECTION . IS IT NORMAL FOR THE STRONG KITS TO HAVE A FAIRLY NOTICABLE BITTER AFTERTASTE OR DID I DO SOMETHING WRONG?

Both of those kits use lots of hops and should be quite heavy on the bitter side. If you find them to be too bitter, you can blend it with some beer that is very not bitter like, ummm, Bud or Coors. And note that for the next time you brew a beer like that so you can use less hops. Also, some of the hops will fade with age, so if you let them sit a while you will likely return to a better beer.

A few dirty words used in the above post, and yes, I did feel the apprehension in your use of them.
