I am looking for some ideas for a primary fermentor that can hold at least 10 gallons. What I am using now properly isn't the best and it is a little small. It would also be nice to know what other people are using out there.

any suggestions would be great.

I think the general guideline that the pros use is to have at least 20% head space. So 12 gallons minimum. As for what to use, well that's up to you. I know some people that will brew 10 gallons and divide it between two 6.5 gallon fermenters. This opens up the opportunity to mess around a little bit. Pitch two different kinds of yeast in the same wort. Dry hop one and not the other. Ferment at different temps. See what these minor differences do to the beer for a great learning experience. Whatever you do, have fun.
